It’s been a while since our last update. In that time, we’ve stepped back—not to pause, but to reflect, recalibrate, and realign with our mission. Respire USA began in South Deerfield, MA, as a small, American-owned company committed to producing sustainable PPE. But from day one, our purpose extended beyond masks.

We’ve always believed that products should protect not only people, but the planet too.

Why the Shift

In May 2024, we shared that Respire had moved from in-house manufacturing to OEM partnerships. This wasn’t just a business strategy—it was a decision rooted in sustainability. By collaborating with U.S.-based OEMs already investing in renewable energy, recycled inputs, and high-efficiency production methods, we significantly reduced our environmental impact while maintaining quality and safety.

More importantly, this change allowed us to focus more deeply on our mission: empowering people to live more eco-conscious lives, not only through the products they choose but through the knowledge and inspiration they carry forward.
